電腦掃描服務

為提供更優質之放射診斷服務，播道醫院於二零一三年二月引進全香港首台西門子雙源電腦斷層掃描器（SIEMENS Dual Source CT- Somatom Definition Flash）。對比以往的單一源頭斷層掃描器，此掃描器的掃描速度更快、影像更準確清晰、而輻射劑量更低。

「雙源電腦斷層掃描器」為病人檢查時還有以下好處：

1. 掃描不受心跳速度阻礙，成像清晰，提供更佳的疾病偵測和診斷。

2. 由於掃描速度快，所以病人在接受檢查時無需使用β-Blocker等減緩心跳速度之藥物，大幅降低病人所需承擔的風險，也適用於心律不整，或是因為緊張而臨時心跳加快的病人，且能取得清楚的冠狀動脈影像。

3. 輻射使用劑量為業界最低，照顧病人安全。

To meet this challenge, In February 2013, Evangel Hospital has installed the first SIEMENS Dual Source CT Somatom Definition Flash, in Hong Kong. This most advanced CT scanner provides faster speed, higher quality images and the lower radiation dose when compared to single source CT scanner in the examination.

The clinical benefits of Dual Source CT scanner :

1. Deliver optimal diagnostic image quality in ALL heart rates.
2. Patients with fast, irregular heart rates no longer need β-Blocker due to the flash speed scanning.
3. The lowest radiation dose and concern about patient safety.
