Proverbs 4:18-20

18  The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.

19  But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble.

20  My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words.

Prayer

Thank you Lord for giving us a new day.

Early at dawn, before the sun has risen above the horizon, your grace has been revealed.

As we gaze through the orange-red clouds, we are convinced that sunny days will appear. May our bodies be lifted up by the Holy Spirit.

May we look up to the Lord Jesus Christ and proceed with confidence into the day of victory. May the Heavenly Father grant us a peaceful mind.

Amidst the anxiety, fear and turbulence brought about by the epidemic, we can hold fast to your grace, confidently face today by faith and be a blessing to others.

We pray in the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen!
